How It Started

Push Better Co. started with a pretty simple thought: Why don’t strollers have rear-view mirrors?

The idea came to me while working as a nanny. On our daily stroller walks, I found myself constantly turning around to see what was coming up behind us. Not out of fear, but wanting to be aware of my surroundings. We share the path with bikers, runners, dogs, other stroller walkers, e-bikes, and pretty much everything in between.

One day, I decided I was going to buy a rear-view mirror for the stroller. I figured it had to exist. I searched for exactly what I had in mind and was genuinely surprised when I couldn’t find it.

That’s when Push Better Co. was born.

I had never created a product before, and I definitely wasn’t looking for a business idea. It came from something I genuinely wanted, and felt like I could use every day.

The more I thought about it, the more it just made sense. We rely on rear-view mirrors in so many other parts of our lives - why not when we’re pushing a stroller?

Since then, I’ve been working to turn that simple idea into something real - learning as I go and creating a product I truly believe should exist.
